I took these shoots during the last fireworks show on coney island last year. I placed the victor-smith on the floor. The flare is cause by the cheap filter on the lens but I think still captures that special celebration of the evening. Canon XSI with 18-55mm, F5.6 @ 8 seconds at ISO 100.

I took this image for jenny, sharon and my wife about 6 months ago. I love the direct gaze of the young lady right back into the camera. She looks quietly strong and confident as she makes eye contact with the viewer. Canon 40D with 24-105mm at 105mm, F5.6 @ 1/100 second at ISO 8200.

This image was made a few weeks ago while on a shoot in Long Island. The location was the Jericho Terrace. I made this image right before the bride prepare to go to ceremony. You can see the stress all over her face. It is one of the classic photographs we make at every wedding. Canon 40D with tokina 11-16mm at 12mm, F5.6 @ 1/60 second at ISO 800.

This is actually a mid afternoon shot I put the sun behind Gordon and take the shoot. I loved the intense bright orange color of the shirt. It's just a loud splash of energizing color in this one composition. Canon 40D with Canon 85mm, F2.5 @ 1/750 second at ISO 200.

This image capture the father of the bride dancing with his daughter on her wedding day.  I have to say, I really like it. Once again, it's a simple shot with a dramatic background.  The beautiful bride and her simplistic totally natural position in the composition certainly add to the over-all feeling of the image.  Canon 40D with Tokina 11-16mm at 11mm, F5.6 @ 1/60 second at ISO 800.

This image captures the fun loving nature of these girls. It was a kick to photograph their friendship and this was one of my favorite images from the day. I captured this image last week while we were visiting the Central Park in NY. Something about the textures and colors were intriguing to me. This one tree in the foreground was the biggest and appeared to be the oldest and most weathered compared to its younger siblings in the background.

I have enjoyed shooting flowers and plants when i still in school. The image was taken on a nyc city walk a week ago. It was taken with a 70-200mm lens. This is one of my favorites from that shoot.
