I went to Hawaii on my honeymoon by the end of 2008. We went to the National park twice hope to see the lava land. the second time we start driving from kona at 4 in the morning and arrived the park at 7:30am. We Hiked for hours try to find the lava river but no luck, the weather is so hot and we went out of water so we head back after 3 hrs.

This image shows with beautiful hair light. This picture was shot around 12pm. I placed the sun behind the subject and using an on-camera 580ex (-2/3) to fill up the shadow. Camera specs: Canon 40D with 70-200mm at 183mm, F4.0 @ 1/160 second, ISO 200.

This image is from one of my favorite shoots captured about a week ago in Brooklyn, NY. The weather and sky cooperated spectacularly to create this stunning image. My wife hold an Off Camera Quantum giving me a bit of the fill flash on the right of the image. Also I tweaked the contract a bit in post-production. Camera specs: Canon 40D with 24-105mm, F7.1 @ 1/250 second, ISO 200.
