Cherry Blossom

Here is one more image from last week's shoot. When I had her look into the camera. It demonstrates what can be accomplished in super bright noon-day sun. The trick is to keep the sun behind the subjects. The lighting on her face became very severe and contrasty. I love the final result.

I made this image this past Saturday at the engagement I was covering. I think this is a great image of the couple alone in this magnificent moments. I asked them to just give each other a kiss which they did very playfully.

Anitra & David

This image was made outside where the ambient light wasn't quite bright. Illumination was provided by my on-camera flash. I just wanted a simple statement of my beautiful bride in this elegant setting. I think the shot tells a great story.

Naomi

I photographed this image during my vacation on last week. The girl in the picture is my niece
Naomi. When doing the series for the portrait, I love getting in close and just framing on portions of their face, hands, ring, etc. To me, this truly captures the feelings of the person. The light, in this case was simply my on-camera flash bouncing off the wall to my left.

This image captures the fun loving nature of this wonderful couple. I think convert this image to B&W is quite effective as a romantic portrait of the couple. I think this kind of image is timeless. i did take more than 30 pics and this is the best one.

Here is a beautiful image of this handsome couple. The location itself is breathtaking. I had my wife, Vivian, pop in a little light from my Quantum flash to create a nice direction of light on Cindy and John.
